How to Install Wine on Ubuntu 11.10

What is the function of Wine? Wine is an application on Ubuntu to run Windows Applications Linux environment. So that all the applications that are commonly used in Microsoft Windows, it can also be enjoyed on Linux.

What is needed to install Wine? Besides Applications Wine, of course, we also have to have Internet connection to download and update system ubuntu.

The steps are:

1. Go to the console / terminal Ubuntu. Give the command:

     sudo add-apt-repository ppa: ubuntu-wine/ppa

 2. Then give the command again:

     sudo apt-get install wine

Ubuntu will update packet, wait until the download is complete.

3. Then the process continued with installing wine to finish.
